Resident Evil Code Veronica Report
According to reliable Capcom insider Dusk Golem, the upcoming Resident Evil Code Veronica Remake is being helmed by Kazunori Kadoi and Yasuhiro Anpo, the same duo who successfully directed the critically acclaimed remakes of RE2 and RE4.
Additionally, Dusk Golem explains that the Resident Evil Code Veronica Remake is a bit “expanded” in the sense that nothing is cut and some parts are “remixed,” clarifying that it is the “remake with the most things changed or happening differently than you may remember.”
He also continues to say that “every enemy, location, major event, is there.”
Chris will reportedly have his own final boss fight with Wesker, according to Dusk Golem, with Claire taking over the last part with Alexia, the main antagonist.
Fan-Favorite Resident Evil Entry Gets Its Due
Originally released in 2000 for the Sega Dreamcast, Resident Evil Code Veronica has long been considered a fan-favorite entry in the franchise. Despite its popularity, the game has often been overlooked in favor of numbered titles when it comes to remakes.
As of now, Capcom has not officially confirmed the remake, but based on Dusk Golem’s track record, there’s a good chance this is indeed true.
