LEVEL-5 has confirmed that Professor Layton and the New World of Steam will release on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam, joining the previously announced Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 versions. The game is set for a worldwide launch toward the end of 2026.
CEO Akihiro Hino shared during the LEVEL-5 Vision 2026 event that core gameplay is nearly complete, with the team now polishing visuals and presentation.
Voice recording for the Japanese version has wrapped, and localization for international audiences is underway. The Japanese voice cast can be seen below:
