Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia has announced that SUPER ROBOT WARS Y will release its paid DLC Expansion Pack: Infinite Dimensions on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
The Super Robot Wars Y expansion introduces six iconic titles: Space Runaway Ideon, Mobile Suit Gundam Char’s Counterattack Beltorchika’s Children, IDOLM@STER XENOGLOSSIA, STAR DRIVER THE MOVIE, CROSS ANGE Rondo of Angel and Dragon, and EUREKA SEVEN HI‑EVOLUTION.

New Content & Master Difficulty Mode
Players will gain access to 8 new playable units, 26 area missions, 1 assist crew member, and a bonus mission. The highlight is the Master difficulty mode, which significantly raises the challenge by strengthening enemy forces, increasing modification costs, reducing experience gains, and removing Spirit Commands during enemy phases. Retry options are disabled, making every battle a true test of skill.
SUPER ROBOT WARS Y Free Update ver. 1.3.0
Alongside the DLC, a free update (ver. 1.3.0) adds new missions and scenarios, including Revol. War (3 episodes), NOAH Brand’s Battles (3 episodes), and Expansion Pack Episode 1: Contact. Limited missions such as Visitors from Another World and The Weight of Purpose are also unlocked, offering exclusive rewards like Cyberstar and mechs from Super Robot Wars V.

35th Anniversary Celebration
The launch coincides with the 35th Anniversary of the Super Robot Wars series, celebrated on April 20, 2026. Bandai Namco has prepared commemorative campaigns and a special anniversary logo to thank fans for their continued support.
