Zenimax has officially launched The Elder Scrolls Online Season Zero: Dawn and Dusk across PC, Xbox, and PlayStation consoles, marking the start of a new seasonal structure for the MMORPG.

Each season will run for around 90 days, offering unique themes, gameplay content, and rewards, which are all free for ESO owners.

The Night Market Event Zone

The Elder Scrolls Online Season Zero introduces the Night Market, a limited-time event zone in the Oblivion realm of Fargrave. Running from April 29 to June 17, players can align with one of three factions, battle through PvE challenges, and earn the coveted Night’s Den player home.

Class Refresh & Player Experience Upgrades

The Dragonknight receives its first class refresh, alongside over 20 quality-of-life improvements designed to reduce grind and friction. Highlights include:

  • Faster mount training
  • UI-based skill respecs and bag upgrades
  • Increased furnishing limits

More class refreshes and improvements are planned through 2026 and beyond.

Challenge Difficulty & PvP Updates

On June 8, The Elder Scrolls Online introduces Challenge Difficulty, an optional overland system with four tiers of increasing rewards. PvP also sees major updates, including:

  • The new Veterancy progression system
  • Continuation of the Vengeance Cyrodiil test campaign

Tamriel Tomes Rewards System

Season Zero debuts Tamriel Tomes, a progressive rewards track consolidating Endeavors and Daily Logins. Players can unlock currencies, consumables, and collectibles with free and premium options available each season.

PlayStation Plus Gold Road Collection

PlayStation Plus members can still claim the Gold Road Collection, featuring the base game, 2024’s Gold Road Chapter, all previous Chapters, and access to the Warden, Necromancer, and Arcanist classes. This offer ends April 6, making it a last-chance opportunity for console adventurers.
