Square Enix has announced major updates for the KINGDOM HEARTS franchise during the latest Nintendo Direct showcase, confirming that KINGDOM HEARTS Collection [I~III] will launch on October 8, 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows (Microsoft Store).

A complete KINGDOM HEARTS journey in one collection
The KINGDOM HEARTS Collection [I~III] bundles the entire Dark Seeker Saga into one streamlined package, featuring:
- KINGDOM HEARTS – HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX
- KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue
- KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind (DLC)
All titles run natively on modern hardware, including Nintendo Switch 2, marking the first time the full collection is available without cloud streaming.
Platform-exclusive Keyblades and early access bonuses
Square Enix confirmed special in‑game Keyblades depending on the platform purchased:

Players who own previous digital versions on Switch (Cloud), PS4, or Xbox One are eligible for discounted upgrade pricing on next‑gen platforms. Switch Cloud players can transfer save data to Switch 2; other platforms do not support save transfers.
