Wild Rift 2026 Roadmap and New Creator Programs Revealed

In a nutshell

  • SMASH 2026 introduces Community Champions Cup & Creator Showmatches.
  • Wild Rounds: Pilipinas Open offers Php 1M prize pool + creator track.
  • New Wild Rift Partner & Nexus Elite Programs spotlight PH creators like OHMYV33NUS, WISE, and Yamada.

Riot Games Philippines has revealed a more competitive and community‑focused roadmap for League of Legends: Wild Rift in 2026. At the heart of this year’s Wild Rounds: SMASH, players can expect a global celebration blending accessible competition, creator expression, and in‑game highlights.

SMASH 2026 will feature two tracks: the Community Champions Cup, showcasing top players from each region, and the Creator Showmatches, where winners from creator‑led tournaments battle on the big stage.

Pilipinas Open: Local Qualifiers and Prize Pool

The Wild Rounds: Pilipinas Open kicked off on June 4 with Split 1, running until July. Registration for Split 2 begins July 6, with the finals set for September 25–27, where the top eight teams will compete for a Php 1,000,000 prize pool.

From August to September, a creator track will also challenge gaming influencers in Wild Rift’s various modes, including ARAM and 2v2. Winners from both tracks will represent the Philippines at SMASH 2026 in South Korea this November.

Patch Updates: 6C & 6D

Riot is also rolling out new updates to fuel the hype:

  • 6C: Growing Us (July) — Wild Rift’s anniversary patch, powering Pilipinas Open qualifiers.
  • 6D: Rhythms of Memory (September) — nostalgic festivities leading into the SMASH 2026 finals.

New Creator Programs: Partner & Nexus Elite

Beyond tournaments, Riot is expanding its creator ecosystem with two new initiatives:

  • Wild Rift Partner Program — early access updates, private Discord, exclusive events, and workshops.
  • Nexus Elite Program — a select roster of PH creators leading the Wild Rift community, including OHMYV33NUS, WISE, Yamada, Karma, Guiang Gaming, Vannybear, Raux TV, Kapitan Pugo, Rebengga, Kitz Cua, Razziebinx, Trio Pebbles, Manjean, and Coach Rec.

“Filipinos are some of our most passionate Wild Rift players in the world. Their love for the game has inspired us to continue growing our Philippine ecosystem and open more doors to anyone who wants to take part in it,” said Lara Antonio, Wild Rift APAC Regional Community Lead.
