HoYoverse has confirmed that Genshin Impact Version 7.0, titled โEverwinter Without Mercy,โ will launch on August 12, 2026, finally unlocking the longโawaited nation of Snezhnaya.
Genshin Impact Snezhnaya Exploration
Players can board roaring trains to traverse frozen landscapes, from the bustling capital Snezhnograd to untamed icefields and secluded villages. The new Archon Quest explores a catastrophic blizzard and the nationโs energy crisis, rewarding adventurers with up to 560 Primogems.
Eye of Graeae Goggles & TPS Mode
Upon arrival, Travelers gain the Eye of Graeae, a versatile tool that protects against the cold, summons trains, and fabricates Prime Ice Constructs.
Goggles also unlock a thirdโperson shooter mode, introducing three firearms and attachments for tactical combat across diverse environments.
Genshin Impact New Elemental Reaction
The Genshin Impact update debuts Stellar Swirl, triggered by combining Anemo and Cryo. This reaction summons a Stellar Vortex that amplifies damage with repeat triggers, while boosting jump height in exploration.

- Odette (Cryo Sword, 5-Star): A Fatui ballerinaโassassin who amplifies Stellar Glimmer reactions and deploys a dance double for AoE Cryo DMG.

Players can race trains, compete in target shooting, and guide Jack Frost to its destination for rewardsโincluding a free Diona invitation. A spooky summer event in Miliastra Wonderland also adds a new head accessory.
