China Takes Honor of Kings Gold as Philippines Earns Bronze
The Honor of Kings competition concluded on September 28, with Team China capturing the gold medal, Team Malaysia securing silver, and Team Philippines alongside Team Hong Kong (China) sharing the bronze medal honors.
The event served as a showcase of both competitive excellence and national pride, bringing together players and fans from across Asia in celebration of esports at the highest level.
According to Jackie Huang, Head of Honor of Kings Global Esports at TiMi Studio Group and Tencent Games, esports on the Asian Games stage represents more than just podium finishes.

Bringing Fans Closer to the Action
The journey to the Asian Games extended beyond the tournament itself. A total of 23 countries and regions registered for the qualifiers, with 10 advancing to the main event in Aichi-Nagoya.
To further engage the community, Honor of Kings organized fan support events across Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and South Korea, combining gameplay activities and community experiences that encouraged players to rally behind their national teams.
Local markets also introduced unique activities, including live cheering events, community engagement campaigns, and interactive fan experiences. In the Philippines, players participated in a cheering-themed Q&A activity designed to celebrate the country’s representatives on the Asian Games stage.
