Toei Animation and Crunchyroll have announced that Dragon Ball Super: Beerus will begin streaming on Crunchyroll starting October 11, delivering an enhanced edition of one of the franchise’s most memorable story arcs to anime fans worldwide. The series will be available with subtitles across Southeast Asia, North America, Latin America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and India.

The upcoming series revisits the arrival of Beerus, the legendary God of Destruction, and his fateful first meeting with Goku. According to the announcement, the new adaptation will feature both enhanced and all-new animation and visuals while drawing from creator Akira Toriyama’s original story, character designs, and creative vision.

The Return of the God of Destruction

The official synopsis takes fans back to a period of peace following the defeat of Majin Buu. However, that peace is short-lived when Beerus awakens from a long slumber. Upon hearing rumors of a Saiyan warrior capable of defeating Frieza, Beerus sets his sights on Goku, leading to a clash that threatens not only Earth but the entire universe.

The enhanced series aims to reintroduce one of Dragon Ball’s most influential storylines, which first paved the way for many of the franchise’s modern transformations, characters, and conflicts.
