Gotham Knights Cancels PS4 and Xbox One Versions, Reveals Nightwing and Red Hood Gameplay
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment revealed new Gotham Knights gameplay today and with it, the confirmation that the game will only be released on the PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. Sorry PS4 and Xbox One players!
Fans may remember that the game was initially announced to release on all platforms but Warner Bros. has indicated that this decision was made “to provide players with the best possible gameplay experience.” This is certainly sad news for those looking forward to the game but still don’t have the elusive current-gen systems on-hand due to stock problems.
WB also revealed a 13-minute gameplay demo trailer featuring Nightwing and Red Hood, showing their combat styles and moves to take out the baddies that roam Gotham City. Various abilities were also shown, along with a peek at the investigative and stealth components of the game.
Overall, it’s looking very slick but is still a work in progress, and we can’t wait to see more updates from the team as the months go by.
