Gotham Knights Will Allow Offline Single-Player, Won’t Have Microtransactions

Gotham Knights revealed new gameplay footage that showcased Nightwing and Red Hood dealing some major hurt. While that’s sure to hype up the crowd looking forward to the game, Warner Bros. Games has released more information about the highly-anticipated title.

According to the FAQ page on the official website, the game will not require an internet connection to play solo, unlike other games. The FAQ continues to explain that an internet connection will only be required for two-player online co-op, as the game will not support local co-op. That said, a PS Plus or Xbox Live Gold membership is needed for online co-op, but not for single-player. The full game can also be played either with a friend or solo, but no cross-play support is planned at the moment.

Additionally, Warner Bros. Games has also indicated that the game will not have in-game purchases or microtransactions. This is a statement that fans certainly want to hear, and will undoubtedly put a smile on their faces.
