Announced as part of the festivities brought about by the 15th-anniversary celebration of the series, Assassin’s Creed Origins will be getting a free play weekend from June 16 – to June 20, 2022 (June 17 at 12:00 AM to June 21 at 12:01 AM Philippines).

Assassin’s Creed Origins recently got a 60FPS update on both the PS5 and Xbox Series, and to make the most of this, players can enjoy a free weekend, allowing full access to the game during the scheduled time slot. Interested players can pre-load now on the platform of their choice, and progression will carry over should you choose to purchase the full game.

In other related news, a special Livestream discussing the future of the franchise announced a number of updates to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, including year 2 support with the return of festivals, the Mastery Challenge Pack 2, the Armory feature, and new caves to explore this fall to solve the mystery of the Tombs of the Fallen.

To further celebrate 15 years of Assassin’s Creed, each week, a game will be featured, offering new content, rewards, and interactive experiences for everyone on the dedicated anniversary website. As a starter, several sets of Assassin’s Creed Origins tattoos along with a naval pack are now available in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
