As part of the 25th Anniversary Celebration showcase, Square Enix unveiled a new trailer for Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis and announced that a closed beta is coming later this year.

The game, which is set to release for iOS and Android mobile devices, is an episodic retelling of the Final Fantasy VII franchise, which will include the original game and its spin-off titles.

The new trailer shows a good chunk of gameplay, which reminds us of Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition, and is looking to be one that fans of the series will appreciate.
