It Takes Two Might be Headed to the Nintendo Switch
Hazelight Studios’ It Takes Two could be heading to the Nintendo Switch if a leak proves to be true.
The Snitch, an infamous leaker with an unreal batting average for leaks, has posted a series of cryptic images on his discord channel that show seemingly unrelated icons that fans have somehow decoded to refer to the 2021 Game of The Year, as spotted by a user on ResetEra.
The images show 2 Switch symbols somehow acting as bookends, with various emojis that could possibly refer to the levels in the game. A couple of emojis towards the end shows a family of three and a book, which are probably the two that would closely refer to the game.
Of course, as with any leak, none of this has been made official yet, but the Snitch has proven to be very reliable, correctly leaking the Alone in the Dark announcement, the Crisis Core reveal, and even Overwatch going free to play. Based on history alone, we might simply be waiting on an official announcement at this point.
It Takes Two tells the story of Cody and May as they see their relationship on the brink of divorce. Their daughter, Rose, wishes for a miracle that the magical book Dr. Hakim brings to fruition by teaching the couple how to rekindle the love they once had.
We loved It Takes Two, and on our review of the game, called it co-op platforming bliss, which seems to be perfect for a system like the Switch.
A Nintendo Direct is rumored to be scheduled for this month, so an announcement may be revealed during the show. Whatever the case may be, we won’t have to wait long before we find out if the rumor is true or not.
It Takes Two is now available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC.
