Metaphor: ReFantazio Has Sold Over 1 Million Units on its First Day

SEGA and ATLUS have announced that Metaphor: ReFantazio has surpassed 1 million units in global sales, including both physical and digital versions, in just the first day of its release.
It is now the fastest-selling Atlus title of all time, dethroning Persona 3 Reload, which sold 1 million units in one week.

Metaphor: ReFantazio has garnered overwhelmingly positive scores from the media, with a Metacritic score of 92 points for the Xbox version, 94 points for the PlayStation 5 version (the highest rating among 2024 releases), and 91 points for the Windows/Steam version (as of October 11).
A free demo, which has already received over 1 million downloads, is also available for players wanting to try out the game first. Saved data can be carried over to the full game.
