The Asian Board Games Festival (ABGF) will make its Philippine debut on May 2–3, 2026 at the Bayanihan Center in Kapitolyo, Pasig City.
First organized in Singapore in 2019 by publisher Origame, ABGF is a regional movement spotlighting Asian board games in a market largely dominated by Western titles.

More Than Just Games
As founder Daryl Chow explains, “When you come to ABGF, you feel part of a community… you really talk to the designers. You learn about why they make games.”
Beyond game booths, the festival will feature:
- Panel talks from industry veterans.
- Designer sessions where fans can meet their favorite creators.
- Launches of Filipino works, including Berlin Manalaysay’s new komiks Death Metal and a Combatron toy collaboration by Quiccs and TidoDojo.
- Larong Atin’s demo of its new miniatures game Combatron Komiks Kombat Arena.

Passport to Play
While entrance is free, attendees can purchase an ABGF Play Passport to collect stamps by playing games from different countries. Completing the passport unlocks exclusive prizes, making the experience even more rewarding.
Organized for Filipino Gamers
The Philippines becomes the fourth country to host ABGF after Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. The local edition is co-organized by Origame and Larong Atin, known for publishing accessible Filipino titles like Darna at ang Nawawalang Bato, Hugot, and PlataPorma.
