Capcom unveiled a dramatic new trailer for Onimusha: Way of the Sword during Opening Night Live 2026, alongside the launch of an expanded public demo. Available today on Nintendo Switch 2 and Microsoft Store, the demo update also rolls out across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Epic Games Store.

The demo introduces a second quest exploring the Oni Refuge, a surreal stage that offers an early slice of the story and introduces new gameplay mechanics. Players will face the towering boss Daidara, setting the stage for the full release.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword officially launches on September 4, 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.

Preโ€‘orders are now open for the Standard, Deluxe, and Premium Deluxe Editions:
