Bloodborne is rumored for a PC release and a PlayStation 5 remaster, Bluepoint working on it
In another episode of “another day, another rumor”, we have quite an interesting one that, while it has been running for quite a long time, is gaining significant traction once again due to the impending PS5 games reveal.
It started when Twitter user Casey Explosion tweeted that Bloodborne for PC is confirmed from a “very trusted source”. While this, of course, is nothing to go by, it bears saying that Nibel, a source of similar leaks, has retweeted this and other tweets that point to this rumor.
Twitter user Wario64, who is known mostly as the “deals” guy, follows this up by saying “You can play Bloodborne on PC with PS Now…or wait a little longer“, possibly pointing the game being revealed at the PS5 games reveal event.
Casey Explosion / SlothBorne then follows up by saying that not only was the Bloodborne PC port supposed to have been announced during the PS5 event, but a remastered version for the PS5 was going to be announced as well. Now this, you can imagine, is the big rumor that is sure to make the reveal event one to remember.
To add the cherry on top, QLOC and Bluepoint games are handling this remaster / PC port, as per Nibel. Casey Explosion also goes to say that From Software is not handling the remaster but “the company doing the remaster are one that I have a huge amount of faith in judging by other games they’ve ported.”
Basically, the TLDR of all of this is:
- Bluepoint is working on a Demon Souls Remake which will be possibly revealed at the PS5 event.
- Bloodborne will be coming to the PC and the PS5 as a remaster.
- Bluepoint will be working on this remaster.
- Both titles will be revealed at the PS5 event.
Again, without official confirmation from Sony, Bluepoint, and FromSoftware, all of these rumors will remain as rumors for now but at the same time, it’s also one hell of a coincidence that all of these things are popping up again, so close to the PS5 reveal event.
This would be big news if true and hopefully, we won’t have to wait too long for the PS5 event to happen.
