It’s that time of the year once again and Sony’s PlayStation Days of Play has returned, offering up a number of rewards and special promotions among other exciting activities for the community.

In a post on the PlayStation Blog, Sony detailed a number of activities that players can take part in:

Days of Play – PlayStation Player Celebration

In this activity, players are encouraged to sign up HERE and take part in some community challenges that will result in some exclusive PSN avatars and PS4 dynamic themes.

Registration starts today and ends on May 31, but players will be able to take part in community goals like unlocking a certain amount of trophies each week until the target is hit, unlocking the rewards for that phase. There will be 3 phases in total which will run until June 8.

Days of Play – Celebration Sale

As is the yearly tradition, there will also be a special Days of Play Celebration Sale on PSN, which will offer tons of discounts and great deals on games and add-on content. Offers will vary per region, so be sure to check out your PSN store for more infomation.

There will also be a free multiplayer weekend along with a special Share of the Week theme, which will be announced on May 14.
