Upon getting your brand new and shiny PlayStation 5 in November, you’ll be glad to know that even if you did not purchase any of the titles from its launch lineup, there will still be something for you to look forward to apart from the backwards compatible games and the titles from the PS Plus Collection.
In an interview with Famitsu (via Nibel on Twitter), it was revealed by creative director Nicolas Doucet that Astro’s Playroom will feature 4 worlds and roughly around 4-5 hours of playtime. Pretty good for a pre-loaded game, don’t you think? It will also have a time attack mode as well as online ranking.
It is not clear if Astro’s Playroom will have trophies, but it would be a great first platinum to break in your PlayStation 5 if it did!
Astro’s Playroom is touted to be a technical showcase of what the DualSense controller can do, which highlights new features like its adaptive triggers and haptic feedback.
The PlayStation 5, along with Astro’s Playroom, is scheduled for release on November 12 in selected territories and November 19 worldwide.
