Black Panther Game Single-player Open-world Title Reportedly in the Works From EA
EA is reportedly publishing a new Black Panther game, which is currently in early development from the new Seattle studio founded by former Monolith Productions studio head Kevin Stephens.
Talking on his news show “Game Mess Mornings,” Grubb goes on to describe the upcoming project, codenamed Project Rainier, as a single-player open-world game that takes place after the current superhero has died, and the player goes on a quest to don the mantle of the new Black Panther.
Because the game is in early development, no release window and platforms were given, so we’ll have to wait a while longer until more concrete details about the project surface. Kevin Stephens has experience with making open-world games, as he was part of Monolith when the company put out Middle-Earth: Shadow of War and Shadow of Mordor.
Black Panther made an appearance almost a year ago in the War for Wakanda expansion for Marvel’s Avengers, and just recently, Marvel has revealed the Wakanda Forever trailer that’s set to release in November.
