It’s been over six months and counting since Cyberpunk 2077 from the PS Store has been de-listed for obvious reasons. There’s good news to be seen though in a recent report by CD Projekt Red regarding its availability, and even Sony have confirmed this in a statement to Eurogamer that Cyberpunk 2077 will be re-listed on June 21, 2021.

However, it does come with the caveat of, “Users will continue to experience performance issues with the PS4 edition while CD Projekt Red continues to improve stability across all platforms. SIE recommends playing the title on PS4 Pro or PS5 for the best experience.”

Digital Foundry have confirmed that as of Patch 1.2, PS4 Pro performance has indeed improved, echoing Sony’s caveat.

Personally, having played both the PS4 and the PS5 versions of the game, they have their good days and their really bad days. I would personally play it on the PS5 if you have access to one, but if not, wait for a better patch for your base PS4 model.

Cyberpunk 2077 is now out for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
