Time for some Cyberpunk 2077 good news!

According to Niko Partners Senior Analyst Daniel Ahmad, CD Projekt Red have disclosed in a report that 13 million copies of the game have been sold through physical and digital channels. What makes this number even more impressive is the fact that 13 million copies already factors in the refunds that have been offered. For a game that was met with a lot of controversy, Cyberpunk 2077 is a smashing sales success.

Even before launch, Cyberpunk 2077 tallied 8 million preorders, which makes for a very good showing. Investors saw the stock of the company drop massively in the past week due to the fiasco but these figures should put their mind at ease if only a little bit.

Our review calls it “Too big to fail”, alluding to the fact that despite its messy release, there’s a good game in there that will take time for CDPR to uncover due to its unfinished and unpolished state.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available now for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, PC, and Stadia.
