Demon Slayer The Hinokami Chronicles Coming To Switch On June 9
Following its successful release last year that saw it ship over 1 million units globally, Sega has announced that Demon Slayer The Hinokami Chronicles is now headed to the Nintendo Switch in Asia on June 9, 2022.
Demon Slayer The Hinokami Chronicles gives players the opportunity to play as their favorite characters from the anime along with experiencing the events from the Unwavering Resolve Arc to Mugen Train. Players will be able to choose from 24 characters, already including the new playable characters which were added as post-launch updates on the other platforms like Akaza and Rui.
The Nintendo Switch version will also come with in-game Kimetsu points that will let players unlock characters and costumes, as well as the Butterfly Mansion Patient Wear, which was previously released on other platforms as a bonus in the Deluxe Edition. Additionally, the Kimetsu Academy Summer Uniform Costumes will automatically be unlocked for characters in versus mode.
Demon Slayer The Hinokami Chronicles Limited Edition
The game will come in a standard physical edition along with a Limited Edition, which will include the following items:
- Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles Main Game
- Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles Original Figurine Device Stand
- Product Code (Character Unlock Key – Academy Costumes)
All Switch editions of the game will include:
- 16,000 Kimetsu Points
- In-game costumes – Butterfly Mansion Patient Wear and Kimetsu Academy
Demon Slayer The Hinokami Chronicles will release for the Nintendo Switch on June 9, 2022. The game is already available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC.
