Destiny 2 playable at 4K 60fps on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, cross-gen play enabled

In a post on the Bungie website, Destiny 2’s next-gen details have been finalized, even showing all of the current upgrades that this version of the game will have over current-gen, with the highlight being a stunning and buttery smooth 4K 60fps gameplay.

Destiny 2 is confirmed to be backwards compatible, and while some features like faster loading time and cross-gen play will be available when the next-gen consoles launch in November, the fully optimized next-gen version will officially release on December 8.

The latest expansion, entitled Beyond Light, is scheduled to release on November 10, and Game Pass subscribers will be able to play the game for free.
