Square Enix Presents was host to a number of announcements and reveals, including one that is quite odd, to say the least. It was announced that the first six titles (Final Fantasy I – VI) will be making a comeback in what’s called Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster, which will be an individual release of the classic titles for Steam and mobile.

Not much is known about Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster, or why it isn’t coming to consoles (just yet), but seeing as the lineup has already released in some form over the past few years, it would be interesting to see what Square Enix is planning to do with this.

Maybe an 2D-HD remake please, Square?
