The first game was released back in 2020, and updated with the addition of the Yuffie DLC a PS5 upgraded release entitled Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, which will also release for Steam today.

The third game is still unannounced, but Tetsuya Nomura spoke about Rebirth, saying that the game is designed so that players can enjoy the installment whether or not they’ve played the first game. The reveal of the third game will come when the team is ready.
