God of War Ragnarok not Delayed but no News to Share for now
Hype for God of War Ragnarok has hit a fever pitch over the past few days, especially with insiders predicting an announcement of sorts that’s supposed to be scheduled for later today.
There’s good news, at least, because the game is not delayed. There’s also bad news because we won’t be hearing or seeing anything new about the game for now.
These updates come from the Creative Director of Santa Monica Studios Cory Barlog himself, answering some folks on Twitter asking about updates on the latest adventure of Kratos.
When asked about the game being delayed, Barlog replied with a direct statement – “because its not.”
Barlog also penned a message to the fans looking forward to any semblance of news from the much-anticipated sequel. He requests that the fans stay patient and that they will surely share news “at the earliest possible moment they can be.”

Was The Snitch, an insider with a perfect track record of high-profile leaks, wrong? Well, not quite, as Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier also mentions that “there was indeed a release date announcement planned” according to people familiar with the proceedings.
To add to that, Schreier also believes that the game is still on track for a 2022 release and has not been delayed.
