Seeing as a lot of people are still on the fence about the upcoming Marvel’s Avengers game, you’ll be glad to know that an upcoming beta is scheduled for for August 21. If you’re part of PlayStation nation and have also pre-ordered the game already, you get first dibs on the beta, which goes live on August 7.
In an article by IGN, the beta details have been revealed as follows:
- August 7 – For PlayStation preorders
- August 14 – For Xbox and PC Preorders and PlayStation open beta
- August 21 – Open beta for all
Creative director Shaun Escayg details what to experience in the beta, saying that “you can experience most of things that you’ll be doing in the full game. That means playing a piece of the original single-player Avengers story campaign, fighting through co-op missions, experiencing hero and world progression, and exploring War Zones and DROP ZONES, a new kind of mission we’ll talk about in the upcoming War Table on July 29. This beta is meaty, but it’s only a small part of the finished game”
Along with that, Escayg also confirms that a second War Table will be premiering on July 29, which will focus on what players can expect from the upcoming beta.
