Itching to find out more about Resident Evil Village? Well you’ll want to tune in on January 21, as Capcom have promised us a showcase bearing new information about the upcoming title.

The announcement comes straight from the Resident Evil social media accounts, and promises “a guided tour of Resident Evil Village, including a new trailer, first-ever gameplay, and more Resident Evil news!”

The guided tour could see a deep-dive of the setting where the game will take place, but more importantly, first-ever gameplay is something to really get excited about. While we know that the game will follow the first person perspective that was implemented in Resident Evil VII, it would be nice to see how this latest game will do it justice, especially with the power behind the next-gen consoles.

Maybe a release date could be revealed as well? We’ll have to wait until January 21 to find out.
