The May PS Plus lineup of Wreckfest, Battlefield V, and Stranded Deep was leaked ahead of time and it turned out to be right, but now the June PS Plus lineup has suffered the same fate, as reported by Areajugones, who are saying that Star Wars Squadrons, Operation Tango, and a new Virtua Fighter game will be the games for next month.
This is quite the good lineup if true. Operation Tango is an upcoming co-op title that could follow the footsteps similar indie games that were released on PS Plus like Maquette, while Star Wars Squadrons could be the big game that anchors it all together like Days Gone in the previous months.
As for the Virtua Fighter game, which is scheduled to be announced on May 27, could be something that can further push Sony’s esports efforts, as well as something that can fit in their acquisition of Evo.
As such, take all of this with a grain of salt, since nothing has been made official yet by Sony. If the timings are correct, the PS Plus lineup for June shall be revealed in the next few days, possibly in time for the Virtua Fighter announcement.
