To clear the air about whether it was going to go multiplatform or not, Bandai Namco has revealed in an official announcement that Scarlet Nexus will also be making its way to the PS4 and PS5, after the initial reveal for the Xbox One and Xbox Series X.

Check out the reveal trailer below:

Scarlet Nexus is the new RPG franchise from Bandai Namco with former members of “Tales Of” development team working on the game, so you can expect a great battle system and fantastic anime style visuals.

The official game preview reads as such:

… take on the role of Yuito Sumeragi, armed with a talent in psycho-kinesis, explore the futuristic city of New Himuka and uncover the mysteries of a Brain Punk future caught between technology and psychic abilities.

In the far distant future, a psionic hormone was discovered in the human brain, granting people extra-sensory powers and changed the world as we knew it. As humanity entered this new era, deranged mutants known as Others began to descend from the sky with a hunger for human brains. Impervious to conventional weapons, those with acute extra-sensory abilities, known as psychics, were our only chance to fight the onslaught from above and preserve humanity. Since then, psychics have been scouted for their talents and recruited to the Other Suppression Force, humanity’s last line of defense.

Scarlet Nexus has yet to announce a release date but will be releasing for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
