Some PlayStation 5 fan made concepts are already making the rounds
Shortly after the DualSense was revealed, social media just burst into conversation about the controller that the PlayStation 5 will be using for the next generation console. Fans have had their fill of creating designs for the DualSense, from candy colored palettes to first party exclusive renders.
The only thing missing was the console itself.
While we patiently wait for the grand reveal from Sony, some fans have decided to take matters into their own hands, coming up with concepts on how the next generation console from Sony will look like based on the controller design.
One concept from a PlayStation 5 Facebook Fanpage was similar to the Xbox Series X, showing a hulking tower with a black and white design and a blue strip outline that resembles the light bar from the PS4 controller. The exhaust grill on the top showed a nice touch, with the PlayStation trademark symbols etched on the panel.
The next concept was one that caught our eye and was designed by Giuseppe Spinelli (aka Snoreyn) as licensed to a site called LetsGoDigital. Complimenting the DualSense, the concept puts the PS5 in similar range with the PS4 Slim, but with a blue accent on opposite edges to mimic the light bar strip on the controller.
Lining up the sides are possibly the exhaust ports and as can be seen from another angle, all the plugs and sockets on the back.
Oh, and they knew everyone would ask for a pure black version, so they went ahead and did it already.
With no news of a full hardware reveal, expect more concepts to pop up in the days and weeks to come. What form would the PS5 possibly take on? A functional tower like the Series X or maybe a sleek and low profile look?
