After much speculation and leaks from over a couple of months back, the next Call of Duty has finally been confirmed as Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War.

In a video that is inspired by actual events, Black Ops Cold War looks to tell the story of a Russian Defector that divulges Soviet plans to subvert arms race dominance by the USA with the use of an undercover agent named “Perseus”, whose identity remains unknown.

At least based on the video, Black Ops Cold War is looking to go back in time (again) but apart from that, there are no other specifics other than the full reveal scheduled for August 26 and will apparently happen within Call of Duty: Warzone.

Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War is being developed by Treyarch and Raven Software.
