Ending the Xbox and Bethesda showcase is a first look at a brand new IP developed by Arkane Studios, makers of Dishonored, Prey, and the much anticipated Deathloop. Showed off as a cinematic trailer for its “Oh, and one more thing” moment, announced personally by Phil Spencer, Redfall features the teleporting shooter action Arkane is known for, with a post-apocalyptic feel that showcases strange vampire characters as the antagonists. It’s better seen than to be believed.

With so many Humans vs Monsters shooters coming out including Rainbow Six Extraction and Back 4 Blood, we can’t wait for the deep dive into this new IP showing off its gameplay mechanics. Though the Fortnite aesthetic isn’t something I’m personally excited about, but if it’s a new IP from Arkane, I’d like to see what they can do.

Redfall is coming out exclusive on Xbox Series on Summer 2022.
