Forspoken shows off impressive gameplay, launches in Spring 2022

Last seen during Square Presents back in March, Forspoken has revealed a brand new story trailer during the Playstation Showcase and with it, a release window of Spring 2022.

In this story trailer, the story’s hero Frey Holland (performed by Ella Balinska) is shown being magically transported from Earth by a sentient cuff to Athia, a land of both fantasies and nightmares, and begins her journey to find her way back home.

A few more cast members include Jonathan Cake as Frey’s companion “Cuff,” Janina Gavankar as Tanta Sila, Keala Settle as Johedy, and Monica Barbaro as Auden.

We get a look at that and some gameplay on the latest trailer which can be seen below:

As detailed on the PlayStation Blog, Bear McCreary (God of War 2018) will be lending his musical talents to the game and joining the Forspoken team as writers are Gary Whitta, Amy Hennig, Allison Rymer, and Todd Stashwick.
