The 39th Golden Joystick Awards just happened and was hosted by Nolan North and Emily Rose. Dubbed as “Celebrating 50 Years of Games”, the awards night highlights how far the gaming medium has come featuring popular game themes for the last 50 years.

A big part of the show is the culmination of all of the votes over the past few weeks that would celebrate the best games of 2021 according to the fans. Resident Evil Village wins HUGE in this event bagging the Ultimate Game of the Year, Playstation Game of the Year, Best Audio, and Maggie Robertson winning Best Performance as Lady Dimitrescu. Also, Capcom bags the best studio of the year award as well.
