Ruined King: A League of Legends Story Is Now Available For The PS4, Xbox One, Switch, And PC
Much to the surprise of everybody, Riot Forge has released Ruined King: A League of Legends Story and is now available for the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC for $29.99 (around PHP 1,500). The announcement took place during the Riot Forge Showcase, which saw a good number of updates from Riot’s Publishing arm.
Ruined King is a turn-based RPG from the developers of Battle Chasers: Nightwar and led by the legendary comic book artist Joe Madureira. The game is set in Bilgewater and the Shadow Isles and will include champions such as Miss Fortune, Illaoi, Braum, Yasuo, Ahri, and Pyke.
Another game from Riot Forge that’s available today is Hextech Mayhem: A League of Legends Story, which is a rhythm-based runner starring the adorable bomber Ziggs.
The game is now available for the Switch and PC for $9.99 (around PHP500), and will make its way to Netflix Games sometime in the future.
We also have updates from 2 other games that are both due in 2022 – Song of Nunu and CONV/RGENCE.
Song of Nunu is developed by Tequila Works (Rime) and is a single-player adventure game that will require puzzle solving and combat while exploring Frejilord. The game is currently planned for a PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC release in 2022.
CONV/RGENCE is a new single-player platformer and is developed by Double Stallion (Speed Brawl) and is a single-player platformer that features Ekko taking a trek across Piltover and Zaun.
Riot is certainly going all-in with introducing players to the universe that they are building, especially for those that have not played the hit MOBA League of Legends at all. With the hugely overwhelming response to Arcane, up is the only way to go for Riot.
