First revealed late last year, Arc System Works has now announced that Baiken will be making her way to Guilty Gear Strive on January 28, 2022 for season pass owners as the fourth DLC character. Players can purchase Baiken as an addition to their roster starting January 31.

Alongside this massive announcement, a couple of videos were also released – A Baiken gameplay guide along with a Combo Maker mode video, which is a free update coming later this week.

Baiken’s character profile reads as follows:

A swordswoman of Japanese descent. She gets heated easily and is quick to start a fight. She’s the type to jump to action before thinking things through. She sticks to her principles, and doesn’t back down from a disagreement until it’s settled. However, she can still acknowledge when the other party is in the right.

Her right arm has an attached concealed weapon as well as an artificial arm modified for offense. She has sworn to take revenge on That Man after suffering a serious wound and losing her friends and family in the Crusades.

Guilty Gear Strive is now available for the PS4, PS5, and PC.
