Lost Judgment Is Reportedly Getting A Live-Action TV Series
You’ve played both Judgment and Lost Judgment but still can’t get enough of Takayuki Yagami and his detective skills? There’s some news swirling about that there are unconfirmed reports of Lost Judgment getting a live-action TV Series, which could satisfy your fix for more of Sega’s action-adventure game.
According to Japanese publication Nikkan Gendai (via Kotaku), Lost Judgment is reportedly the basis for an upcoming TV adaptation for Asahi Television and while it hasn’t been officially announced yet, the show already has a temporary title – Sabakarezaru or “The Unjudged”. Interestingly, as Kotaku further points out, the full Japanese title of the game is Lost Judgment: Sabakarezaru Kioku or “Unjudged Memory”, hence the temporary title of the upcoming TV series.

The Nikkan Gendai report further notes that Takuya Kimura, the voice behind Judgment’s Takayuki Yagami, will be “moving forward” with the TV series, despite previous reports that Kimura’s talent agency and Sega are in disagreement “regarding the platforms to sell the game.”
There’s no confirmation yet on whether the report holds any weight, but it would be interesting to see if this show even makes it to the West assuming that this is a Japanese-only production.
