Sega has announced that Sonic Origins, a collection that contains 4 Sonic titles, will be available digitally for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC on June 23, 2022.

Sonic Origins will retail for $39.99 (around PHP2,000) and will bring together Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and Sonic CD in one package that will give players the ability to play these installments in either Classic or Anniversary mode.

Classic Mode is as it sounds, letting players experience the games with the original aspect ratio and difficulty settings, while Anniversary Mode takes the action to full screen along with offering infinite lives and no game over screens! A boss mode and mirror mode is also available.

Players can also earn medallions by completing various missions in the games that will allow them to unlock new content from the in-game vault.
