Bayonetta 3 Adds ‘Naive Angel Mode’ to Auto-censor Risky Content
Platinum Games has announced that it has added a Naive Angel Mode to Bayonetta 3 that will auto-censor risky content while playing the game.
A short video that accompanied a Tweet by the developers shows how the mode will work, so instead of seeing Bayonetta partly naked during a transformation, she will instead be fully clothed.
The mode also extends to some monsters that have equally revealing costumes, as seen on the video.
Platinum games said that the Naive Angel Mode will allow players to “play right in the living room without having to worry about what’s on screen.”
Bayonetta 3 will release on October 28, 2022 for the Nintendo Switch. A Trinity Masquerade Edition was also revealed and will include special physical bonuses on top of the base game.
