Asobo Studio has announced that A Plague Tale: Requiem has gone gold almost two months ahead of its October 18, 2022 release.

In industry lingo, going gold basically means that the game is ready to be printed and manufactured, essentially being the 1.0 version before any new updates are added as a day one patch.

Additionally, a gameplay overview trailer was recently released, which showcased 5 minutes of fantastic new gameplay that showed new combat mechanics that players can look forward to.

A Plague Tale: Requiem will launch on October 18, 2022 for the PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. A Nintendo Switch Cloud version will also be available.
