Assassin’s Creed Valhalla ‘The Last Chapter’ Update Now Available, Destiny 2 Crossover Revealed
Ubisoft has announced that the final update for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is now available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC.
For the past two years and more than 20 million players around the world, we will finally get to discover the end of Eivor’s story with The Last Chapter and meet the charismatic Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s character, Roshan, in Shared History.
The Last Chapter is a new free quest that brings an intimate end to Eivor’s adventures. This epilogue ties up some of the storylines established during the game and will see players reunite with key characters and historical figures, and discover new adventures and memories that will wrap up the incredible story of Eivor.
The Last Chapter is considered end-game content, so players will need to complete certain parts of the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla narrative to access it.
Additionally, players will also get the opportunity to cross paths with Roshan, Basim’s mentor, voiced by the Emmy-winning actress Shohreh Aghdashloo.
A highly requested combat feature will also be making its way into the game, giving players the option to fight with Eivor’s hood on. Also, two brand new skills will be added to Eivor’s collection: Slide Bow and MasterChef.
Starting December 6, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will feature a crossover partnership with Destiny 2 and will see purchasable cosmetics be available such as character and weapons packs inspired by the Destiny 2 universe.
Destiny 2 players will also be able to enjoy some iconic cosmetic items from the Assassin’s Creed franchise.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will also be getting a free play weekend starting from December 15 to 19, allowing players to try out the game before actually purchasing it.
Finally, in celebration of 15 years of Assassin’s Creed, all Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players will be able to claim the Young Ezio Legacy Outfit for free, via Ubisoft Connect, on December 21.
