A Reddit post by user u/cefaluu has spotted that six Final Fantasy games have received a rating on ESRB for the PS4 and Nintendo, alongside a Windows PC rating as well.

While it does not specifically say they are the Pixel Remasters on the rating, it would be the most logical assumption seeing as these have been released on Steam and mobile devices last year, and console exclusions at that time were simply mind-boggling.

This is certainly great news for fans that have been wanting to play these games on modern consoles, and while some folks are still waiting for an HD-2D reimagining of Final Fantasy VI (coughmecough), this could be the next best thing.

As always, we’ll wait on an official announcement from Square Enix, but this set coming to consoles is long overdue and we’d love to have them sooner rather than later.
