Assassin’s Creed Mirage has Gone Gold, Now Releasing on October 5

Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed Mirage has gone gold, and as a result, the launch date will be moved up to October 5, a week earlier than originally planned.

“On behalf of the entire team, we can’t wait for you to explore 9th Century Baghdad with Basim,” says the developer.

According to French YouTuber Julien Chièze (via PCGamesN), who had a chance to interview lead producer Fabian Salomon, the game won’t take as long to complete as previous AC titles. Salomon mentions that the team averaged about 20–23 hours to finish, with averages soaring up to 25–30 for completionists.

“Given that we do a lot of playtesting internally at Ubisoft, it’s part of our process, we really want to get as close as possible to the players, so we’ll say that the latest playtimes we’ve received average at around 20–23 hour. That can go up to 25–30 hours for the completionists, and we’ll say that those who will be rushing the game will be around 20 hours.”
