The Game Awards 2023 is now done, and the showdown between Baldur’s Gate 3, Alan Wake 2, Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Spider-Man 2, Resident Evil 4 Remake, and Super Mario Wonder comes to a climax. Would you have guessed it? Baldur’s Gate 3 has been named the Game of the Year!

Baldur’s Gate 3 takes home a total of six awards during The Game Awards 2023, including Best RPG, Player’s Voice, Best Multiplayer, Best Community Support, and Neil Newbon for Best Performance as Astarion.

There were a few other surprises to come out during The Game Awards 2023, with the biggest being Cyberpunk 2077 winning the best ongoing game. Who would’ve thought, but hey, we loved Phantom Liberty, so there’s that!
