Honor of Kings Now Available in the Philippines

Tencent and Level Infinite have announced that Honor of Kings is now available in the Philippines, promising a $15 Million investment in the global esports scene this year.

Following the first-ever Honor of Kings Invitational in Turkey, the focus now shifts to local competitions with the introduction of the Honor of Kings Open Series. Registration opens on April 15, inviting players from around the world, including the Philippines, to compete for the top spot.

This tournament, facilitated by Level Infinite, serves as a stepping stone to the second season of the Honor of Kings Invitational, which is scheduled to take place in the upcoming months.

The stakes are raised even further as the standout participants from the Honor of Kings Invitational Season 2 will secure a place in the MidSeason Invitational, boasting a prize pool of $3 million (roughly PHP168 million), one of the largest in the history of global esports.

In 2024 alone, the game has committed an impressive $15 million investment into the international esports scene. To solidify this vision, Level Infinite has entered into a three-year alliance with the Esports World Cup Foundation, covering both Honor of Kings and PUBG Mobile. This paves the way for over 1,000 esports tournaments worldwide, ensuring that fans across the globe are ready for a thrilling competitive journey.

“Honor of Kings is the most played mobile MOBA title in the world, and with our global launch later this year, its popularity is set to soar beyond anything we’ve ever seen,” says James Yang, Senior Director of Level Infinite Global Esports at Tencent Games.
