Microsoft has announced that its Xbox Games Showcase 2024 will be followed by a [redacted] direct that’s probably the next Call of Duty game.

As announced on the Xbox Wire page, the showcase is scheduled for June 9 and will be happening live in Los Angeles, with a double feature for a mystery game that will happen right after.

This Xbox Games Showcase is said to be the “first Showcase featuring games from our portfolio of studios across Activision, Blizzard, Bethesda, and Xbox Game Studios, in addition to titles from our third-party partners.”

Fans are looking forward to updates on upcoming titles like Avowed, Indiana Jones, and much more. According to a report from The Verge, the showcase this year will contain more games than the 2023 showcase, and even a look at the 2025 lineup.

The mystery game is widely believed to be the next Call of Duty Game, and also according to the report from The Verge, “sources familiar with the company’s plans tell me that this is indeed Call of Duty.”
