EA and Bioware have announced the PC system Requirements for Dragon Age: The Veilguard and other information such as preload and global launch times.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard PC System Requirements

Dragon Age: The Veilguard offers various requirements, depending on whether players want to experience the game with or without Ray Tracing. The specs are quite reasonable for the minimum and recommended tiers, but understandably, ultra settings will require an RTX 4080 for maximum visual push.

For PS5 and Xbox Series, both fidelity and performance modes will be available, targeting 30 and 60 fps, respectively.

Additionally, the game will be PS5 Pro Enhanced, and according to BioWare Studio Technical Director Maciej Kurowski, “The game’s Fidelity and Performance modes will both see improvements on the hardware, including improved resolution in 30FPS Fidelity and 60FPS Performance modes.“

Thanks to PSSR, Raytraced Ambient Occlusion (RTAO) in the 60FPS Performance mode will be enabled. The game will also be Steam Deck Verified.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard Global Launch Times

PC players won’t be able to preload the game because the game won’t include a third-party DRM, like Denuvo.

Preload schedule is as follows:

• Xbox Series X|S: October 14 at 9AM PDT
• Playstation 5: October 29 at 9AM PDT
• PC: No preload, the game will be downloadable and playable on launch day, October 31 at 9AM PDT
